Happy New Start of the Week! 🎉

Always feel the drive to refresh everything as a new week unfolds. Especially on a Monday. So, allow me to share a little something with you - a painting I embarked on last week.

Honestly, the aim was just to sketch and create an enjoyable figurative art piece, something I deeply savor, fashion included. However, as I got more into it, it blossomed into more of a painting. When you are working with a thick oil base brush, it's a beautiful look not to think about blending your shades in, to perfect it. There are times I play safe and use skintones I know but other times I want to know how much I can push the conventional 'what works'.
