It's time for one of those good old updates on the state of my mind and my adventures and misadventures in the world of art! 🎨✨

So, this year has been a real rollercoaster ride, it's like itcwas set on the "hard difficulty" level. The positivist would say, life's no fun without a challenge but challenges can knock the fun out of everything. There's the distinction between the burden you choose to carry and the burden that was placed on you to carry.

Funny thing, though... the tougher life got, the more I found myself into art. It's like I was making SOS calls and only art was responding onto the rescue with a cape and all (which reminds me I haven't had time to continue watching The Boys, a TV series I started in June.)

Ego This, Ego That

You see, there's something inherently therapeutic about having a single-minded purpose, the primary direction of Art is to create something, the 'what' is secondary. It's incredible how creativity can turn a tough day into a canvas of possibilities, a line of victory and yes I need all the wins I can get. It helps motivation absolutely. There's a lot more I would like to say about this year's hurdles but I'll run into the trap of making this post obnoxiously long.
